Mandai Wildlife Group is the steward of Mandai Wildlife Reserve, a unique wildlife and nature destination in Singapore that is home to world-renown wildlife parks which connect visitors to the fascinating world of wildlife. The Group is driving an exciting rejuvenation plan at Mandai Wildlife Reserve, adjacent to Singapore’s Central Catchment Nature Reserve, that will integrate five wildlife parks with distinctive nature-based experiences, green public spaces and an eco-friendly resort.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
This position is responsible for business development and project managing from end-to-end on B2C events and programming for Green Canvas and our Indoor Attractions (Exploria and Curiosity Cove), with a focus on driving visitation, ticket sales and commercial performance.
We are looking for someone who combines creativity with commercial and operational sensibility — someone who can identify the right content and partners, assess their potential and drive projects through to execution.
Build strong relationships with prospective partners, agencies, industry stakeholders and other strategic partners to develop a healthy pipeline of B2C opportunities.
Achieve and drive a targeted pipeline of B2C events and programming to Green Canvas and Indoor Attractions.
Source or conceptualise and project manage ticketed events and experiences from planning through execution and post-event evaluation, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget and against agreed commercial objectives.
Develop and manage project plans, budgets, timelines and performance targets, coordinating cross-functional teams across marketing, operations, production and other workstreams.
Monitor consumer trends, lifestyle and entertainment content, competitive events and market developments to identify potential partners and new programming opportunities.
Own and evaluate event performance across revenue, ticket sales, marketing effectiveness, partner deliverables and audience feedback, and identify opportunities to improve future performance.
Job Requirements:
Degree or Diploma in Business, Marketing, Events Management, Hospitality or related disciplines.
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in IP-led events, ticketed events, lifestyle events, exhibitions and/or experiential activations.
Demonstrated ability to identify, engage and develop relationships with content partners, event organisers, brands or other commercial partners.
Strong commercial acumen with a proven track record in driving event performance, including ticket sales, marketing, partnerships, budgets and revenue targets.
Strong network within the events, lifestyle, entertainment, experiential or MICE ecosystem would be advantageous.
Strong team player with a collaborative mindset, stakeholder management, communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
Experience in event producing and production is a bonus but not a must.
Willing and able to work weekends and public holidays, where required to support events and programmes.
