Assistant Manager, Destination Marketing

Mandai Wildlife Group is the steward of Mandai Wildlife Reserve, a unique wildlife and nature destination in Singapore that is home to world-renown wildlife parks which connect visitors to the fascinating world of wildlife. The Group is driving an exciting rejuvenation plan at Mandai Wildlife Reserve, adjacent to Singapore’s Central Catchment Nature Reserve, that will integrate five wildlife parks with distinctive nature-based experiences, green public spaces and an eco-friendly resort.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Develop, manage and execute local campaigns and initiatives for Mandai Wildlife Reserve (MWR) to establish MWR as top local destination to achieve the following goals:
Meet overall attendance and revenue goals for MWR
Grow love and pride for MWR amongst local residents
Deepen loyalty and build advocacy for MWR
Conceptualise, plan and execute various scope and campaigns to achieve attendance and revenue Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for MWR and its parks, including but not limited to:
Local destination marketing – for attractions and ancillaries
Key and tactical campaigns – integrated campaign planning for earned, owned, paid channels
Provide brand guardianship and build strong recall and awareness for Mandai family of brands.
Lead and/or provide support in all marketing aspects from planning, budgeting, approvals, meeting deadlines, contingency planning, campaign analysis and reporting to deliver quality outputs and outcomes.
Work collaboratively and effectively with cross-functional teams such as digital & social, creative & design and other multiple internal stakeholders to deliver campaigns and projects.
Work effectively with creative agencies, production houses and internal design team to develop key visuals, campaign ads and in-market collaterals.
Work effectively with media agency to execute media campaigns and optimise digital campaigns.
Manage and monitor marketing budget to improve and achieve optimal ROI
Secure and negotiate marketing partnerships with relevant partners or vendors.
Work on special projects when assigned.
Other relevant duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
Degree in Marketing, Mass Communications or equivalent
Highly motivated individual with at least 4 years of relevant experience in Marketing or related disciplines, preferably in Tourism or Hospitality industry
Proven experience in branding, consumer marketing, integrated consumer marketing, digital marketing, project management and budget management
Proven capability to work with multiple stakeholders in a fast-changing environment
Demonstrates ability to adapt quickly, with the flexibility to pivot strategies and plans in response to evolving market demands and business priorities.
High energy self-starter with a positive attitude and ability to multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Analytical, results-orientated, and highly organised
Able to work independently while being a good team player
