Mandai Wildlife Group is the steward of Mandai Wildlife Reserve, a unique wildlife and nature destination in Singapore that is home to world-renown wildlife parks which connect visitors to the fascinating world of wildlife. The Group is driving an exciting rejuvenation plan at Mandai Wildlife Reserve, adjacent to Singapore’s Central Catchment Nature Reserve, that will integrate five wildlife parks with distinctive nature-based experiences, green public spaces and an eco-friendly resort.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Daily animal husbandry, servicing animal yard and holding area

• Assess animals daily to ensure they are properly cared for

• Observe animal behavior, report abnormal behavior patterns and provide technical advice to management and staff

• Prepare food and feed assigned animals according to approved diet plans

• Follow quarantine protocols and biosecurity guideline

• Follow treatment plans and preventive health programs as prescribed

• Implement animal care procedures and policies, including record keeping

• Maintain supply inventories

• Assist with the physical transfer of animals

• Support special animal care activities such as physical examinations, minor exhibit repairs and modifications, and major exhibit maintenance projects

• Provide animal enrichment to increase welfare

• Perform other duties as assigned

Job Requirements: 

• Minimum 'O' levels or Diploma holders (preferably in Life Sciences)

• Working experience in animal care taking and husbandry preferred

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)

• Possession of Class 3/3A licences will be advantageous.

• Able to work in outdoor environment.

• Heavy lifting (up to 25kg) is required

• Confident, outgoing personality and a strong team player

• Able to work in a team and independently

• Willing to work on Weekends and Public Holidays.
