Mandai Wildlife Group is the steward of Mandai Wildlife Reserve, a unique wildlife and nature destination in Singapore that is home to world-renown wildlife parks which connect visitors to the fascinating world of wildlife. The Group is driving an exciting rejuvenation plan at Mandai Wildlife Reserve, adjacent to Singapore’s Central Catchment Nature Reserve, that will integrate five wildlife parks with distinctive nature-based experiences, green public spaces and an eco-friendly resort.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Market Development duties
Develop a robust Go-to-Market strategy, build top-of-mind awareness of MWR products, identify business opportunities, and build a sound strategy to increase revenue and visitor ship to MWG parks.
Assist in negotiating sales and marketing collaboration with travel partners and non-travel trade partners to achieve organisational goals from the respective market.
Establish and maintain excellent business relationships with local and overseas travel partners.
Develop and grow strong relationships with clients to achieve optimal satisfaction, engagement, and long-term commercial sustainability.
Maintain account databases, update account records, and ensure accurate and up-to-date information.
Sales planning duties:
Internal stakeholder management: Assist the Sales team to prepare relevant documentation and reports to assist with the day to day operations of the team.
Sales Forecasting and Budgeting: Assisting in developing accurate sales forecasts and revenue targets for different product lines, channels, and market segments.
Collaborating with finance to create annual sales budgets and track performance against budgeted targets.Market Analysis: Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, competitive landscape, and opportunities for growth.
Promotion Planning: Develop promotional strategies that maximize revenue and align with market positioning and competitive landscape.
Plan and coordinate promotional campaigns, including discounts, bundles, and special offers, to drive short-term sales goals.Sales Reporting and Performance Tracking: Create and manage dashboards and reports to monitor sales performance, track progress toward targets, and provide insights to IS team.
Perform any other ad-hoc duties assigned by line manager.
Other relevant duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
Diploma or Degree in Business, Marketing, Tourism, Hospitality, or related fields.
At least 2 years of relevant experience in the Tourism/ International Market / Hospitality industry.
Experience in market insights, sales and analysis reports.
Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
Self-motivated with an analytical mind and excellent problem-solving skills.
Excellent written and oral communication skills, especially the ability to develop and deliver inspiring presentations.
An independent team player who takes initiative, prompt and detailed-minded, adaptable in a dynamic fast-paced environment.
Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
Pleasant, friendly and warm disposition.
Able to work on weekends and PH for familiarisation trip.
